Unless otherwise noted, text, layout, graphics, and software interfaces created for this site are provided by or for Westport. © 2026 Westport. All rights reserved, except as required by law or expressly stated below.
Washington public records and open-government principles may allow inspection and copying of certain records under the Public Records Act (chapter 42.56 RCW). PRA access is not the same as a copyright license to republish or commercially reuse City-created creative works. Contact City Hall before substantial reuse of City branding, logos, or original copy.
2. Branding and trademarks
The City of Westport name, seal, and logos, and “Experience Westport” tourism branding (when linked or referenced), are protected identifiers. Do not use them to imply endorsement of a private business or product without written City permission.
3. User-submitted content
By uploading or entering content (applications, documents, support messages), you represent that you have the right to submit it and that the City may use it as needed to process permits, maintain records, and fulfill legal obligations (including public records disclosure). You retain any copyright you hold in original materials you created, subject to those municipal uses.
4. Third-party and open-source components
This application may incorporate open-source libraries (for example mapping or WebAuthn components) under their respective licenses. Municipal code text linked from third-party publishers remains subject to that publisher’s and the City’s terms. GitHub commit links in the footer, when present, point to source-control metadata and do not grant additional rights beyond the repository’s license.
